1. Give a brief description of Lencho’s house ?
Ans : Lencho’s house was the only one in the entire valley it was situated on the crest of a low hill. From where one could see the river and the field of ripe corn dotted with flowers that always promised a good harvest.
2. How did the rain change ? What happened to Lencho’s field ?
Ans : When a strong wind began to blow the very large hailstones began to fall along with the rain. This is how the rain changed.
Lencho’s field was completely destroyed by the hailstorm.
3. What were lencho’s feeling when the hail had stopped ?
Ans : Lencho’s soul was filled with sadness when the hail had stopped, because the hailstones destroyed his crops completely. He stood in the middle of the field and said to his sons that the hail had left nothing for them and they would go hungry this year. But he was hopeful of getting help from God.
4. What did Lencho write in his first letter to God ?
Ans : In his first letter to God Lencho wrote,” God if you don’t help me, my family and i will go hungry this year. I need a hundred pesos in order to sow my field again to live until the crop comes, because the hailstorm had destroyed my field completely.

Ans : Lencho was not surprised to find a letter for him with money in it. Because he was totally sure that it came from God such was his faith in God.
